Tuition and Fees

Below you will find the Graduate Tuition and Fee Rates established for the Fall 2016 semester by the Kean University Board of Trustees. Please note that doctoral programs and select master's programs have special tuition rates, as outlined below. 

Please note that non-degree, non-matriculated, and certification students are charged the per credit rate for each credit registered.

Graduate Full-Time Overload (12+credits)
Full-time, matriculated, in-state students who register for more than 12 credits are charged the flat rate tuition and fees ($8,236) plus a per credit charge of $640 per each additional credit.

A part time student taking off-campus courses will be charged an off-campus fee of $20.00 per credit in addition to the regular University per credit fees. The Student Leadership Fee will not be charge for these credits. All non-immigrant visa holders (this includes F’s, J’s and H’s) regardless of NJ residency are charged Out-of-State tuition and fees.
